MAY 2017 FAIRY LOOT – Warriors & Legends

Once again I will try to keep this short as I am fully aware that the content of box boxes is generally plastered absolutely everywhere. So I will just give a quick description from the spoiler card and a super short opinion.
I am happy with the majority of the things in the box. I’m still unsure on whether its worth the £30ish pounds each month, but I do look forward to it arriving. I have subscribed to Illumicrate as well, which is a quarterly book box so I will see how they compare, although in the UK we don’t really have a massive amount of choice.

Warriors & Legends Tea by The Tea Leaf Co – I love herbal teas. This one is flavored with lychee and jasmine and smells DIVINE.

One Ring Woodmark by Ink & Wonder – featuring a quote from Lord of The Rings and made on sustainably sourced wood, this book mark is my favorite piece in the box

Celtic Socks by FairyLoot – Socks! Warrior socks!! Who doesn’t need socks??

Opposing Tin Candle by In The Wick of Time – There were two different candles sent out. A choice between ‘Flame’ and ‘Mist’. I received MIST and is smells unbelievable. My only issue is… its tiny. Minute. Minuscule. I just wish it was bigger.

Metallic Feather Pen by Flora’s Wonder Emporium – First glance this seems like a cool item. Upon further inspection, it is quite cheap looking and flimsy. This would have been amazing had it been metal.

World Mythology by Mark Daniels – I had no idea that this would be included. So what a great surprise!

Flame in the Mist by Renee Ahdieh including a signed book-plate and a letter
from the author

The only daughter of a prominent samurai, Mariko has always known she’d been raised for one purpose and one purpose only: to marry. Never mind her cunning, which rivals that of her twin brother, Kenshin, or her skills as an accomplished alchemist. Since Mariko was not born a boy, her fate was sealed the moment she drew her first breath.

So, at just seventeen years old, Mariko is sent to the imperial palace to meet her betrothed, a man she did not choose, for the very first time. But the journey is cut short when Mariko’s convoy is viciously attacked by the Black Clan, a dangerous group of bandits who’ve been hired to kill Mariko before she reaches the palace.

Also included were a FairyLoot bookmark, a Legends & Warriors spoiler card, a Flame in the Mist book mark and a card with a FairyLoot code to find a reading buddy

Now… the book goes on my hardback shelf, all the goodies go in the FairyLoot bag and my daughter gets the box for her Shopkins.
